The murals at the Ako Adjei Interchange in Ghana, created by over 30 artists, celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Ga Adangbe people. These artworks transform the interchange with vibrant depictions of festivals, rituals, totems, and symbols that highlight their historical journey and traditions. Key themes include unity, harmony, and reverence for the ocean and the universe, reflecting their spiritual beliefs and communal values. The murals also acknowledge the Ga Adangbe's migration history, tracing their roots from Goshen (Egypt) to Ghana. This project was supported by organizations like the Creative Arts Council, Accra Metropolitan Assembly, and the Ghana Association of Visual Artists, aiming to integrate art into urban spaces and celebrate local culture.
